Elizabeth Steen, J.D., began her legal career as an intern in the United States Senate after she was graduated from Indiana University Bloomington - Maurer School of Law in 2007.

Elizabeth provides Divorce Without Court at Westside Collaborative Law PLLC in West Seattle, which she operates with her husband, Jeff Steen.

In Seattle, Elizabeth serves as Vice Chair of the King County Bar Association - Collaborative Law Section. She is a member of the Pierce County Center for Dialog & Resolution mediation practicum and the Family Law Practice Group for King County Collaborative Law. She has trained extensively in Collaborative Family Law.

Before she moved to Seattle in 2011, she worked as a lawyer with federal agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security. In Seattle she has worked with SEIU Local 925. She has been a licensed attorney for 10 years.

Elizabeth and the Westside Collaborative Law team use the techniques of collaborative law to protect relationships and lower stress in high-conflict situations.
