Experience: My experience as an advocate, commercial arbitrator, mediator and law professor spans 41 years. I have focused on complex international commercial and high tech disputes pending before the AAA, ICDR, WIPO, ICC, FINRA, MARC and the Federal Courts. I have presided over or advocated in more than 400 complex disputes involving international contracts, intellectual property, antitrust, telecommunications, construction, personal injury and employment. Additionally, presided in over 60 hearings as a Washington State Administrative Law Judge resolving unfair labor practice and discrimination claims. Since 2006, I have taught “Transnational Litigation & Arbitration” and “Comparative European International Arbitration” as an Adjunct Professor of Law in Seattle, Washington and as a Fulbright Scholar in Prague, Brno, Czech Republic and the Republic of Mauritius.
