Are conflicts sapping your energy and eroding your relationships at work, school or home? If so, come explore the dynamics and impact of conflict and learn skills for managing it more effectively.
We’ll begin by examining commonly-held beliefs around conflict, and look at our individual conflict styles and the challenges of interacting with other styles. Then we’ll reflect on own our personal “hot buttons,” and discuss ways to manage them. We’ll practice listening skills, with a focus on hearing unspoken communications, and, finally, we’ll discuss tools for confronting others successfully.Taught by Sarah Knowles and Selden Prentice
