The Puget Sound Section of the American Planning Association and the King County Bar Association Environmental & Land Use Section are hosting a joint brown bag at Mercer Island City Hall, at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Courtney Kaylor of McCullough Hill Leary PS, and Jim Pearman, Washington State Bar Association Land Use and Environmental Mediation Committee member, will discuss how mediation can result in more efficient, satisfying, and enduring resolution of land use and environmental disputes. The presentation will examine the opportunities and challenges associated with the use of mediation in these areas.
This topic was also previously presented at a KCBA brown bag in September 2011. This session has been approved for 1 general CLE and is pending approval for 1 AICP CM credit. The brown bag is provided at no cost and free parking is available. Optional lunches are $5 (or bring your own bag). RSVP’s to email@example.com are not required for attendance or to buy a lunch, but is used to estimate the number of lunches to order. We hope that you will be able to attend this unique presentation and networking opportunity between lawyers and planners.
