Please join us for our upcoming panel presentation "Avoiding Litigation-Style Discovery in Arbitration – Tips from the Inside." Here is a sneak peak preview of the event:
Arbitration's goals of speed and economy can be achieved only if discovery is managed efficiently. Three experienced arbitrators will share innovative approaches including the drafting of effective arbitration clauses, the laws and rules governing the proceeding, managing the “discovery" process, and useful ways for the arbitrator to take an active role—in concert with counsel—in controlling the discovery process from the very beginning of the dispute resolution proceeding.
The panelists have put together the following materials that will be referenced during the presentation: Top Ten Tips, Agenda4IPHC-Sole.docx, and AgendaLtr-Template-111214.doc. Please feel free to bring you own copies to the event, as we will only have limited paper copies available.
Our panelists include:
The presentation will be from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m, with a networking reception to follow. There will be a cash bar and hors d'oeuvres. WSBA ADR Section members will receive one free drink ticket.
