Apology and Forgiveness When the Health Care System Fails

This free program is for students, faculty, practitioners, mediators, attorneys, and anyone from the community who's interested in apology in the context of medical malpractice. No registration required, but seating is limited to 50. The panel will feature:

  • Frederick Luskin, Professor of Psychology, Stanford University
  • Thomas Gallagher, Professor, UW Medical School
  • Anna Mastroianni, Professor, UW Law School

The panel will discuss how to achieve meaningful closure in medical malpractice situations through apology and the scope of apology evidentiary statutes. 

1.5 hours CLE credit approved.
