The 3-day program focuses on applicable laws and procedures for the conduct of efficient arbitration hearings in complex international cases. Satisfactory assessment of performance in role-play exercises will permit the candidate to take the award writing examination for qualification as a Fellow that is administered as part of the program. Following successful completion of the exam and subsequent Peer Interview, one is eligible to be a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and use the designation "FCIArb."
The Seattle Fellowship program fee is $1,950, but a reduced fee of $1,700 is available to members of the Washington State Bar Association, Alternate Dispute Resolution section.
