Business, Corporate, Real Estate, Environmental, Land Use
After 30 years of practicing environmental law with larger firms in Seattle, Tom Kilbane recently founded his own law firm. His practice continues to focus on environmental law, providing cost-effective and experienced counsel and representation to clients involved in federal Superfund and state hazardous waste cleanup sites, including negotiations with government agencies and other potentially responsible parties, formation and leadership of PRP groups, and related litigation, mediation, arbitration, and hybrid processes for allocation of liability. He assists clients in obtaining permits and complying with environmental regulations, and defending against agency enforcement actions and citizen suits. He also enjoys helping clients resolve environmental issues in real estate and corporate transactions. He also has experience in land use and development, real estate, and general business/corporate matters. Having completed his 40-hour mediation training, Tom is now offering his services as a mediator in these areas.
