Bryan J. Branon is the Director of ADR Services for the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in their Seattle regional office and was previously the Regional and International Liaison for the AAA and their International Centre for Dispute Resolution where he helped found the International Mediation Institute. A former law clerk on the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee and intern in the Irish Parliament and U.S. Court of International Trade, Bryan has worked for the ADR Center in Rome, Italy where he co-authored a study on the implementation of the 2008 E.U. Mediation Directive into Member States’ national legislation and helped establish the Afghanistan Center for Commercial Dispute Resolution. Bryan graduated with a B.S. in Political Science from St. Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont and earned his J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York, New York where he received his mediator certification through the New York Peace Institute in conjunction with the Kukin Program for Conflict Resolution.
