Zurich North America Insurance Company (former)
Admiralty/Maritime, Business, Personal Injury
I have 40 years of litigation experience serving as King County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, a business litigator, and 16 years as a partner in a Seattle maritime firm. Most recently, for the past 17 years, I was the Managing Attorney of the Zurich North America Insurance Company Staff Legal Office in Seattle, a commercial insurance defense practice. I managed and mentored the attorneys in the office, appearing in numerous mediations. I regularly tried cases to jury verdict in all "major" and "catastrophic" cases in the office. I am a qualified Arbitrator for Mandatory Arbitration in our Superior Courts. In 2014, I completed 42 hours of training in "Mediating the Litigated Case" provided by the Straus Institute at Pepperdine University School of Law.
