design, grading and storm drainage design, detention and
water quality design, environmental permits and the
preparation of Technical Information Reports. In addition, Mr.
Kirkpatrick has managed an office of 10 to 20+ employees for
the past nine years and has a great understanding of pulling
resources and making sure projects meet the demands of the
clients. As an engineer, he has been very involved in
preparing contract documents with many municipalities and
private developers. In his position as principal at
Encompass, he is responsible for overseeing large
comprehensive engineering and surveying projects. With the
complexity of the projects, Mr. Kirkpatrick has been
instrumental in managing, organizing, and coordinating with
sub-consultants and governing agencies to meet the needs of
our clients.
His most recent involvement includes project peer reviews for
the City of Cle Elum, as Encompass is currently retained as
their City Engineer. Mr. Kirkpatrick and Encompass also
have a great deal of involvement in the local community and
organizations such as board member for Habitat for
Humanity, member of the Central Washington Home Builders
Association, Cle Elum/Roslyn, Ellensburg, and Issaquah
Chamber of Commerce, Kittitas County Rotary, Life Support,
and many more.
