For 30 years I represented labor organizations and their members in Washington, Oregon and Alaska in the public and private sectors. This included well over 500 arbitration hearings conducted under collective bargaining agreements, proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board, the U.S. Department of Labor, the Washington Public Employment Relations Commission and other agencies, and litigation in federal and state courts. I also represented individuals in wage and hour class action litigation and, to a limited extent, Taft-Hartley pension and health and welfare trusts.
Part of my work was representing labor organizations in their capacity as employers in arbitration hearings, before administrative agencies, and in court.
I retired from the firm of Reid, Pedersen, McCarthy & Ballew, LLP in January 2011.
