Diana is a civil trial lawyer who represents corporate and individual clients in a wide range of matters, including cases involving complex business disputes, fraud, and personal injury. Diana also serves as an arbitrator and mediator. Before joining Dearmin Fogarty PLLC as member, Diana was a Lead Attorney at the Safeco Seattle Legal Department where she was staff counsel from 2001-2008. At Safeco, Diana defended a wide variety of cases, including personal injury, wrongful death, professional negligence, products liability, admiralty, and un/under insured motorist claims and cases where a reservation of rights had been issued. Before joining Safeco, Diana was a principal at the Seattle law firm of Riddell Williams P.S., where she practiced from 1997 to 2001. Diana first practiced as a litigator with Williams, Kastner & Gibbs LLP. Diana served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Rosselle Pekelis (Retired) for the Washington State Supreme Court and the Washington Court of Appeals, Division I, from 1993-95. Diana received her J.D. from the University of Puget Sound Law School (now Seattle University) in 1993. She graduated in 1987 with a B.A. from the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington. Before law school, Diana served on the staff of United States Senator Carl Levin in Washington, D.C.
