Uniform Collaborative Law Act Introduced for 2012 Regular Session

UCLA assigned session law chapter number. Download it here: Chapter 119, Laws of 2013 (pdf).

May 3, 2013, Governor Inslee signs SHB 1116 and the UCLA becomes law in the state of Washington. To be effective July 28, 2013. See the Governor's Bill Action page here.  Click here to track the bill.

Washington Uniform Law Commission: the entity likely to introduce the UCLA/R in the Legislature.

Uniform Law Commission's Collaborative Law Act Committee: The ULC - previously known as NCCUSL (National Conference of Commissioners of Uniform State Laws), responsible for drafting uniform laws. The Collaborative Law Committee drafted the UCLA/R.

UCLA at Hofstra Law: the reporter to the ULC Collaborative Law Committee, Andrew Schepard, is a professor at Hofstra.
