Kathryn advises that it appears both our bills - UCLA and FFA amendments - were part of the collateral damage to the parliamentary maneuver on the Senate floor last night. They and all other unpassed policy bills are now dead for the session. Unless there's some legislative defib equipment we don't know about, it looks like they're gone.
Kathyrn Leathers advises that the FFA technical fix bill is now on it's last leg of it's journey, on the Senate floor.
UCLA scheduled for public hearing Feb 17 in the Senate Committee on Judiciary at 1:30 PM.
Re FFA, the striker amendment is posted. It's through both Senate and House committees and in rules for both chambers. Track the bill here.
Looks like the FFA bill that's available is still the placeholder drafted by Commerce, not yet the version that would reflect the stakeholder workgroup's work. Track the FFA amendment bill here.
