Our next meeting of the Legislative Committee is April 8th at Noon.  Information is on the committee webpage at http://wsba-adr.org/groups/legislativecommittee.

Unfortunately, the WICAA, which passed the house 95-2, died in Senate Committee.  This does not mean the proposal is dead.  It does mean we have more work to do.

Please join the committee meeting on the 8th of April.  In addition to our future strategy regarding the WICAA, we have early mediation in family law cases, drafting of documents by mediators (WSBA Ethics Opinion 2223), mediation standards and certification, the FFA updates, and many other important issues on the agenda.

Please RSVP.

I'll be there - on the phone, that is.

I plan to be there.

I'll attend by phone or in person.
