Please note the following.

Dear Sirs,

I received your contact information from Kathryn Leathers.  The House Judiciary Committee is planning a work session on Friday, December 2nd, beginning at 10:00 AM, in House Hearing Room A of the John L. O’Brien building in Olympia.

The UCLA/R is the second item on the agenda.  Approximately 30 minutes will be devoted to this topic.  The Chair of the Judiciary Committee, Rep. Pedersen, is interested in hearing from sections of the WSBA for their perspectives and comments on the UCLA/R.   The speakers would be on a panel and would have approximately 20 minutes total.

Would you be available to give your perspectives and comments at this work session?  I understand that some sections may not have taken a position on the UCLA/R by December 2nd, so you may not be able to speak on behalf of your entire section.  Even if that is the case, it would still be beneficial for the Judiciary Committee to hear the different perspectives from practitioners.

Please let me know if you would be able to attend.  Thank you for your time,

Trudes
